December 2023 – Newsletter
From the East: Rodger Ellingwood
As Master of our Lodge, it has been a busy year and worth it. I’m reminded of “Both Sides Now” a song
by Joni Mitchell. One of the verses is:
“Well somethings lost, but somethings gained in Living Everyday.”
Although a year has passed and one of my top priorities has been our Lodge, I have gained so much. All
of you have helped me, Thank you! What I have gained is an appreciation for my Brothers and a
belief that Freemasonry is still relevant. Each of us is part of the foundation that determines our Lodge’s
direction. Your decisions determine how well that foundation holds. MWB Steven D. Hames, our Grand
Master’s, statement “Our Best Is The Least We Owe Each Other” is something to reflect on as we start
our next year. Decide as a Mason, living everyday, what can you do to be your best?
